I love that these unassuming buds

turn into these beautiful flowers

And I love that they can have flowers as big as these less than a year after planting!

I thought you might also like to see the "help" that I've had today whilst I was working from home...
it's of the less than helpful kind! She did eventually get fed up with me trying to type over her and reluctantly relocated to my lap. I'll show you what her brother was up to another day!

I have just done a blog post with help from my little assistant too - not easy and I kept hoping he wouldn't get up and tread on the delete key!! I love hydrangeas too - they are so beautiful aren't they and I especially like the ones which have blooms in all different shades of blues/lilac/pink all together.
Hydrangeas don't get the credit they deserve. I have one in my garden I'll have to have a closer look at it.
Hydrangeas are so pretty, I used to have one but I think it died last winter. Your assistant is rather cute too.
Not a surprising love affair Su - 'Vanilla Fraise' looks delightful. Somebody obviously did not want you near her computer!
I love hydrangeas too, there are so many varieties but I think I like the delicate ones best. It's amazing how the stems manage to hold up those large heads though. Love your helper, they know exactly how to get attention don't they?!
PS, thanks for popping by and saying hello x Kate
Your Annabelle is stunning Su.
Your feline assistant looks very comfortable I must say - Jess gets on the desk and sits on the keyboard when she wants attention - saucy little sprite!

Cats and hydrangeas....both on my list of fav things too!! Have you tried pressing the individual flowers? Great for mixed-media collage!
I love the cat photo. I have a laptop that is generally on my lap and then when the cat sits on my lap you can imagine how the typing changes somewhat.
