Winter Reflections

No, I'm not going all poetic or philosophical on you, I mean these reflections:

Our snow only really arrived yesterday and the stillness of the river made the reflections really clear today.

Everything looked really crisp and clean and as you can see I was the only idiot  person having a walk down there today.

I'll leave you with the tiny snow covered cones of the Alder tree (I think).

Keep warm!

  1. I love your photos and reflections in water always make you look at the world in a different way-a sort of world-turned-upside-down. What a beautiful, quiet landscape. And yes, they are alder cones.

  4. Love these photos. Whilst I appreciate the vivid colours of summer flowers and so on, I am at heart a black and white photographer. The reflections are so calming aren't they?

  5. Lovely photos. There's fabulous beauty in the starkness isn't there. Thanks for sharing.
