A few days later I came home to find a delivery card saying that a parcel was waiting for me round the corner at my local post office. As at this stage I assumed that the waiting parcel was an order of Mary Portas knickers that I was waiting for from Libertys not this very large box, so I walked round to pick it up.
After staggering home I unpacked it.
Carefully packed inside were all kinds of goodies: jams, chocolates, nibbles, pickles, biscuits, etc etc. And china plates, mugs and proper cutlery.
I had some help with the unpacking
But eventually they left it alone so I could get a decent photo!
Where had they gone?
To play with the packaging of course!
Thanks Fiona for a lovely prize -I'm imagining using it in some lovely weather later on this summer!

Delighted that you won Su!
How lovely and if it doesn't stop raining you could always have an indoor pretend picnic couldn't you? Actually as I type the sun is out though whether long enough for a picnic I don't know!
It was obviously meant for you! And the packaging was the perfect present for your helpers :-)
Enjoy all the goodies (even if you have to have an indoor picnic)

Fabulous fabulous prize! x
It's gorgeous, and filled with delicious goodies too, a fab prize. Hope we get some lovely weather so that you can enjoy using it.
How delightful that it went to someone that I 'know'! Do let us hear about any picnic that you have.
What a fab win Su - really lovely hamper. Let's hope we get some summer sunshine soon so you can have that picnic!
Bobbi loves packaging and usually hi-jacks the box for a couple of weeks until she gets fed up with it!

Oooh lucky you! Have you tried anything out yet? If it doesn't stop raining you could have a carpet picnic instead!
Great prize! I saw some of that Mary Portas show - do we get to see a pic of your knickers? (hehe ;)
