Woolly Heaven!

When I went to the Knitting and Stitching show a few weeks ago one of the things that found its way into my shopping bag was a collection of Colinette yarn to make a throw.  It came as a kit with all the wool, 8 different types and the instructions.

It was a very simple pattern to knit, which meant that I could knit it whilst watching TV and it was knitted on relatively large (size 8) needles.

I have visions of snuggling up under it when it gets really cold of an evening, but for now it's living on the back of the sofa to try and keep my feline helpers off it, as I suspect that it is their idea of woolly heaven!

I love the colours and am really pleased with it.

And I'm also pleased to report that my conservatory is still neat and tidy and I'm enjoying be able to sit in whilst eating my lunch.

Beautiful colours Su but that looks most complicated to me. I'm simply unable to imagine combining knitting with tv watching and doing justice to both :) I can see your cats having great fun with the tassles.

The colours are beautiful, Colinette is lovely wool and that blanket looks very warm. After seeing your tidy room I felt ashamed and plan to tidy my workroom this week!

What a beautiful throw! I saw a smashing crochet one at the Exeter show, didn't buy it, and looked and looked in hope hope at Ally Pally to no avail. So kicking myself now!

Such lovely colours and it looks really snuggly and soft. I can't just sit and watch television without something crafty going on, at least for the first hour of the evening. But then my thumbs or elbow begin to complain, so I have to stop.

Well, what a beautiful throw & a wonderful cat proof basket to keep things that are in process in. Your conservatory is stunning, what a transformation! Looks great & will certainly entice you in ;)

Now I'm not the hugest Colinette fan as a rule but that is GORGEOUS! I'm not surprised the cats think it's heaven!
