Tidying

I was poorly most of last week so have had to have a very quiet weekend.  However I'm not good at sitting around, especially when all I can see around me is mess.  So I tidied.  Lots.

I tidied the conservatory,

I tidied my bedroom,

although this still needs some work as I can't get rid of the carrier bags for another couple of weeks, (I'm waiting to collect my Granny's 1930's dresser from my parents' shed) and I tidied my study,

now I can sit down to work tomorrow in a nice clear space!

I love this tour around your place - I now feel inspired to have a tidy up in my little studio, problem is I really need twice the space!!

Well done! Hope you feel better.

My studio and the snug next door is in a shambolic state, I keep thinking this week will be quieter so I can tidy up, then I get another project and just like stuff on top of the mess!

I am impressed that you had enough energy to do all that whilst feeling unwell! Get well soon.

Hoping that you are feeling much better now, Su. Your de-cluttering results are very impressive. I would never be able to show photographs of my apartment. Even when tidied, I look around and think...now, where might I put the rest of this? Ahh, to have just one more room, with a door. xo

Your conservatory looks lovely! It demonstrates how a small space can look great and stylish!

I hope you're feeling better now. Your house looks very calming - I love the (reclaimed?) table top in your workroom!

It all looks so inviting and soothing! And I have shelf envy: your studio space is beautifully organised, what a fabulous place to work in!

Loved the little mini tour of your home and hope you're feeling better by now. We've just moved house (again!), so I could write the book on creating order out of chaos! Loved the swing-boat story in your last post. Hope they go to a good home! xCathy

I hope you're feeling better now. I like having a good tidy round, I feel I can relax better knowing that everything's in its place.

Very impressive! Thanks for your comment on my dress - and I've been reading your recent posts - your Dad sounds a real character. I'm visiting my parents who leave between Kings Lynn and Castle Rising - but I've never been to Castle Acre Priory - I might try to fit that in while I'm here x
